  • How much does an appointment cost?

    Appointments are booked at $120 per 60 minutes. If this rate is unsustainable for you, please inquire about sliding scale (reduced rate) slots.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Payments can be made via credit card or e-transfer. Payment is made online through a secure service.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Cancellations can be made with a minimum of 24hrs notice without charge. Cancellations within 24hrs or missed appointments will be charged the full session fee.

  • Is psychotherapy covered by OHIP?

    No, psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP. However, it is often covered by extended health insurance plans. If inquiring with your insurance provider, ask if psychotherapy from Registered Psychotherapists is covered by your plan.

  • Are our sessions and relevant notes confidential?

    Your information will not be disclosed or shared without your consent. There are some legal exceptions to this:

    - To eliminate or reduce a significant risk of serious harm to you (the client) or anyone else
    - Information about abuse or neglect of a minor is disclosed
    - Information about abuse by a health care professional is disclosed
    - Your records are subpoenaed by the legal system

  • How long will therapy last?

    The length of therapy will vary depending on your unique goals and circumstances. Some concerns can be resolved in a small number of visits, while others will benefit from a longer, more sustained relationship.
